Removal of X From Transcript

If a student receives the standard sanction of an XF, they have the option to petition for the “X’s” removal. While the student would still have an “F” on their transcript, the marking which indicates that the failure was due to academic dishonesty may be removed. It is important to note that the standard sanction requires that a period of twelve (12) months has passed before a student is qualified for their “X” to be removed.

In order to petition to have your XF removed, you must successfully complete the Petition for X Removal Educational Workshop Packet.

After completing the workshop packet, please click here to fill out the petition form and upload your completed workshop packet.

OSRR staff will then review your petition and follow up with you regarding next steps.
